The building was built in the 70s and i dont think its ever been looked at since, my oven the entire time i lived there was straight out of the 70's and had a lot of issues with heating too much and cooking unevenly. Despite my frustrations I did enjoy living here and will miss it. The view to look over the city lights at night was beautiful and i loved getting up and going out to be right next to the mountains and watching the sunrise. I liked that I didnt have to drive to get to several hiking spots cause they were right next door. the leasing office ladies were always fun to chat with and were understanding whenever I needed to submit a complaint or inquiry. Its sad how expensive the housing market has gotten because I simply could not afford to continue living here but I already miss it.

The manernent and mantinse are very nice the apartments are cosey hot water and heat are included if some thing needs to get done just put in a work order and it will be done soon the tenders are nice it us very quiet and peaceful here with 2 great views we have a small laundry mat here and you can go to the office and get a cup of coffee and talk with the very n7ce maneuvers wile waiting for your coffee being brewed

I've lived here 20 years. We are lucky to finally have a manager, Andria, who knows what she's doing! Plus, she's a great people person and is quick with getting requests done. I'm very happy with the maintenance team, with Jed and his crew who work hard on work requests. They fixed my swamp cooler quickly yesterday. The leasing agent is always so nice and helpful. We are lucky to have these guys working at Lookout Pointe! Trust me. I've been here awhile.

Great place to live. Love my view from my balcony. Close to hiking and downtown Provo. Very affordable for the view and location. Maintenance is quick and responsive. The office staff are very friendly and personable. Andria and Keisha make a great team. Andria is one of the best managers that I have come across. I have been living at Lookout Pointe for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to move here. The management team is incredibly responsive and always goes above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and satisfied. The maintenance staff is prompt and efficient, addressing any issues within hours. The amenities are top-notch, including a beautiful swimming pool and a cozy lounge area overlooking Utah lake which is perfect for relaxing. The neighborhood is safe and welcoming, making it an ideal place for families, professionals, and students alike. Overall, Lookout Pointe offers an exceptional living experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new home. Five stars all the way!

In advance id like to say: The staff was super nice. Andrea is a 5 star property manager. She was absolutely amazing and helped me with everything i needed, and she really did care about people's situation and gave great advice as far as renting and staying safe financially in today's world. I'm extremely grateful to have a friend like her while I lived there. For the sake of a honest review though: Pros: Nice facility Nice staff Yard work was taken care of often. They were also quick with maintainance requests and that is a huge plus. The maintainance crew was amazing about keeping the facility working and clean. Some of the cons tho, The place didn't feel the most secure. I had my car broken into a few times, thankfully nothing major There were people walking around a lot at night often high, which isn't necessarily bad but it was kind of intimidating. I was lucky and never ran into any issues but I'm not one to say there never was any. My biggest concern is if you need to leave the apartment for any given reason before your lease is up. It's extremely expensive. So plan accordingly.

The apartment's location is very beautiful especially if you enjoy hiking or being in nature. Winter can be a trek however, with how steep the hills are but if you plan accordingly, it's not a complete nightmare. The current staff here are also very kind and understanding in regards to tenant concerns but tend to be understaffed for the amount of maintenance services needed. Overall, the apartments are nice for what you pay for and it's a good place to start for first time apartment renters.

I've lived here for going on 3 years. It's Amazing beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Management is amazing. I've never had a problem getting anything fixed. My repairs are done correctly and in a reasonable amount of time. They're are friendly and caring. I love the friendly atmosphere with my neighbors. They're truly pet friendly with amenities for the animals all over the property. It's amazing!!! But don't get me wrong. If you don't follow the rules in the lease. You will be held accountable. If you don't clean up after your pet you will be held accountable. But this is what keeps it a peaceful place to live for everybody. Which I appreciate greatly.Thank you

This place has pros and cons like every place does. The cons are thin walls, shared vents, and a lot of people living in small apartments. It's the luck of the draw depending on if you have good neighbors that make it a nicer experience for you because you will hear your neighbors and they will hear you. However, the pros outweigh the cons, which is why I've lived here almost 20 years. Overall, the community of tenants are great, the landscaping is beautiful and the view is spectacular, both of the valley and of the mountains. Maintenance works hard to fix issues for you in a timely manner (Jed is awesome), and the new manager, Andria, has been working hard to make the overall experience for everyone better by addressing tenant concerns quickly. Hope AMC is paying her what she's worth.

If you want to live up and away from everything, this is a great location. That said, you definitely pay for the privacy. The apartment imposes almost $250 a month in fees and utilities on top of an already high rent. The units themselves are small and don't get much light. And the laundry room is in the bottom corner of the building. The management company is no nonsense and does not tolerate any variances. And the air conditioning cannot be controlled by the individual units. It is controlled by exterior temperature. When I complained that my unit was too cold in the summer, I was told to turn my heater on.

This is a good place to call home. For some of us, that's what we've called Lookout Pointe for years and years. Home. The community of tenants are generally friendly and interactive, with many owning a variety of dog breeds that look forward to wagging their tails and seeing each other daily. The swimming pool is clean, the dog park and deck are pluses. The grounds are beautiful, the view can't be beat and the hikes around here are amazing. The apartments have thin walls and you share swamp cooler vents with several neighbors, so you have the potential to hear your neighbors or smell what they're cooking. This isn't totally unusual for apartment style living and can be expected from a complex built in 1972. I've lived here for 17 years and have had some really great neighbors come and go. The office staff and maintenance have always been great to work with. I get passionate sometimes about Lookout Pointe because I've lived here so long and care about it. Many of my friend's call this place home as well and have lived here for years. There's many good reasons to live here. But most importantly, this is the best place to call home as far as an apartment goes in Provo. Good people like to live here and stay awhile. Good people work for Lookout Pointe, too.

Gunner (front office) is great. Most of the maintenance crew is great. The view is fantastic. The laundry room has been so inconsistent in whether or not the machines are working that I don’t even bother trying to use the laundry room here anymore. The price for our studio is ridiculous but it’s becoming the norm in UT so what can you do *shrug*… the improvements to the apartment complex have been fantastic! And the construction crew has been so considerate and polite. Communication has been spot on for the entire time we’ve been here.

Management here is amazing. Regi sees the tenants as human and treats us as such. I've never had an apartment manager that went so far and above. My five stars goes to them. We also really enjoy the pool that's here, and can vouch that it gets cleaned every morning. It is the best value for what you're paying. Is it brand new or come equipped with all the fancy stuff in those newer apartments? No, but it's sufficient, especially for those who are struggling to find a place within their budget that also accepts pets. I think the property manager makes a lot of effort to ensure that the complex doesn't stink like animal. They take care of you, simple and to the point.

I feel its unfair to leave up my bad review, however I do give it 4 stars for using swamp coolers that connect apartments and furnaces that may only be accessible in your neighbors apartment as well.

Reading the past reviews were crazy. It seems like a lot of the issues have been cleared up. I haven't had any problems with drug paraphernalia left out. And with the coming updates and renovations after the management change, it seems like things are in an upwards trajectory. The apartments are small, and a bit overpriced. But that's all of Utah right now. The pipes are old, and you share a hot water heater with at least two other units, so a consistent temperature shower is difficult to get. The trees do block the view, but they also keep the heat off the units in the afternoons, so an overall benefit in my opinion. They recently swapped out the old windows and patio doors with ones that should keep the chill out better next winter. Though there are no screens on the doors or windows, so I'm sure once we start getting into the heart of the summer, bugs will be a major issue. My largest complaint comes from communication. Not once have we been told what exactly is being done to the property. From what I have seen, aside from the previously mentioned doors and windows. they are putting in a patio deck near the dog run, repairing the rusted-out walkway off the south wing, repainted the exterior and railings (did not give us adequate notice on when exactly to clear the railings so my plants got painted over), repairing the shingles on the eaves, and updated the pool furniture. It's possible there is more I've missed, but again, they've informed us of nothing. The maintenance staff and office staff are super chill though. Good people, and they've responded to any of my requests quickly. I would like to see the weird "box" in the dog run filled in though, with either dirt, sand, or fine gravel. All the holes from irresponsible owners are a bit of a tripping hazard.

I live here and I love it. My apartment is both cozy and spacious, spectacular views is true advertising, the office- management- maintenance- neighbors have all been friendly and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place in Utah.

Great so far. A little pricey for the size of the apartment, but it's worth it to have the amenities here like on site laundry, a pool, and a dog park. Plus my apartment is updated and the inside looks great. Everyone seems really friendly so far and the office staff was super nice and helpful with the move in. I was impressed by how organized it was. One thing I was concerned about after looking at other reviews was noise from neighbors, pets, etc., and so far it has not been an issue at all. I can also say I've never had any issues with people picking up after their pets. Overall we've been super happy here! Will update if that changes.

I've seen some negative reviews here and I must say, some seem overly dramatic. I must agree, in my nearly 17 years of living here (yes, that's a long time), I've seen my fair share of things, but I imagine I'd see those things anywhere. People are loud, vandalize, steal, and do drugs in every apartment community. Even in the rich and famous with ultra fancy new places. This is an older apartment complex, but it is nice to get away from the city and up in the mountains. Management and maintenance are both good to respond to your needs. Perhaps it depends on how hysterical and demanding you are when you "ask" for something will determine how quickly they "jump". They are also human. They should be treated with respect as well. There have been periods when they've been short-handed with maintenance and dog poop has been seen more, and there has been more smoking in area's not allowed, but management does try hard to address these issues. Someone posted that there was gang signs and drugs in the parking lot daily. Something like that. I never saw gang signs and nothing has deterred me from feeling unsafe as a female from walking my dog in the parking lot and around the grounds at any time of day or night. There's a reason I've lived here as long as I have. I like it. It's not perfect, but you won't find perfect anywhere.

I myself have been there for just over a year and as it was the first time I moved out of the family house, it could not have been a more perfect place for me to the cost of the apartment that was within my budget. I had one of the few apartments that didn't have a balcony but it never bothered me aside from half the window was covered by a bush; due to the fact that I was on level with the garden/walk way. My apartment had also newly installed wood flooring to the previously carpeted units that they were changing from. I had multiple changes of neighbors and all were friendly to me. The apartments were sound insulated enough that I didn't need to worry about playing video games long into the night without bothering any neighbors. Aside from the occasional unending barking dog that lasted through the night/early morning. I had a very good and excellent time here at Lookout Pointe. The staff at the office were nice and when I submitted a window fix to install a fly screen, they were professional and submitted everything on paper to keep for records. There is a downside of living on the side of a mountain which is during winter storms, there's a higher chance of sliding down the roads, which can be slightly concerning depending on the car you own. Overall I enjoyed my time at Lookout Pointe very much and I would highly recommend it to other people.

The prices are a little on the higher end, but you're definitely getting your money's worth. You won't find a better place location-wise in Provo, you're out of the valley a bit and have privacy and you feel safer but you're also close enough to stores that it's not a hassle to go anywhere. The pet policy is great and they're super pet friendly. The covered parking is really nice and the maintenance guys do a fantastic job upkeeping everything. All of the staff, especially the people in the office are incredible, honestly super super sweet and understanding.

I have lived here since April 2017. There have been several changes in management during that time, but I have to say that Regi is a caring and compassionate person. She truly cares about the property and more importantly for the residents. I know that she has a lot on her shoulders keeping everything organized, but is very kind and fair. It will be sad to leave (necessary due to medical reasons), but I will remember my time here fondly.

I currently live here. I don't know how it used to be, but this place isn't anywhere near as bad as people make it sound. As long as you follow the rules stated in your contract and pay your rent on time it's fine. I haven't had any issues with parking. Yes, the apartments are on the smaller side, but if you looked at the apartment and saw it's size and still moved in, then that's your own fault. I feel like they've done a good job with renovations and have been able to clear out a lot of the "sketchy" people. Really the only people I see around the complex are older people and young couples. A few of the downsides, there are a LOT of stairs. Only the top floor is wheelchair accessible. It's pet friendly, my neighbors are pretty good, but occasionally you get dogs barking. The building uses swamp coolers and not A/C, so it gets toasty. I bought a window A/C unit and ran it all summer, because the coolers didn't bring my apartment temp below 80 degrees. All in all it has been a decent apartment, pretty clean, very quiet, kinda pricey for what you get but that's Provo.

So far so good. I love the view, the staff, and the quiet nature atmosphere. I'm a hiking enthusiast and love the fact that the trail head for y mountain is within walking distance not to mention the Bonneville shoreline trail. I like how you can use a credit card for laundry verses gettin a bunch of quarters. There's also two soda machines and they got monster energy. The pool looks great and I can't wait for it to open. I will update this review if something comes up.

Office staff always helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. Love my apartment and grateful to have it. Occasional increases in rent sometimes a problem. Main concern is over walkways not being cleaned regularly, especially if there is pet waste on them. Feel also, trash and furniture left on grounds or parking lot to be junky looking/eyesore, and people hanging outside near walkways or parking lot to smoke unappealing and bothersome to those who do not smoke nor wish to breathe it in when walking to cars/apartments. Also find people unaware of early morning/late evening walking/running/loud talking outside peoples apartments/inside apartments when sleeping. But is apartment life, and Lookout Point is still a very great place to live. Thanks. Jon Winquist

The view is amazing! The community here is great and the free fast internet is a nice perk. The management is very nice and they helped us get our couch in through the backdoor, which helped a lot. The apartment was small, but it was nice, overall it was worth the rent.

We've had a great experience here since moving in in October. The apartment is small, but it's the perfect size for a couple just starting out. The view is absolutely breathtaking and all of our neighbors are very pleasant. Whenever we have called for maintenance the issue is always taken care of in a very timely manner, and the office staff is always super friendly and helpful. We can hear our upstairs neighbors sometimes, but that is to be expected with an apartment. The community itself is usually pretty quiet and peaceful.

Loved living at Lookout Pointe! It was mine and my husband's first apartment together and we couldn't have been happier. Mindy is amazing!! She is always so willing to help and service all of our requests. We only signed a 6 month lease (which was already an exception to begin with), and she was totally willing to sell our contract 2 months early. The maintenance guys are way fast and nice. The pool was great, the neighbors and parties were fun. And the view was just breathtaking! Loved watching the fireworks on the 4th of July from our balcony. We seriously still miss Lookout Pointe sometimes. Give it a try!!

I have lived at Lookout Pointe Apartments for 3 years .I have met some real wonderful neighbors here who are friendly and caring. There are some real positive things going on here, where they have good activity and social gatherings. It is real kept and clean. The apartments are great with a good view of the mountains, also hiking and swimming, it is also pet friendly and there aren't many place where you can have a pet .There are also parking areas for your car and keep the snow off.

Lookout Pointe is a beautiful place to live. They are not brand new apartments. But are maintained very well. The management has been a gem to deal with and takes great deal in making sure they keep it that way. Maintenance has been prompt and pleasant in my experience so far. A lot of the apartments here are remodeled with really pretty, dark wooden flooring. My apartment is carpeted. and not prefect. I have yet to live in a rental with great carpet. If you live facing West you will be blessed with a beautiful view of the Utah Valley from your apartment balcony. Otherwise you just need to walk towards the mountain in your back yard and fine a nice spot to chill or hike. The grounds are wonderful. Especially if you have a dog. The Bark Park is nice to be able to take your dog off leash, its not huge, but it's great. Lots of old beautiful trees surrounding the buildings and pool. The pool is very well maintained. There are a lot of stairs. It's not the greatest for bringing in groceries. But it sure makes the place feel secluded and private. I've been here one winter so far, it was mild. But the grounds were very well kept. Overall, this is my favorite apartment in Utah County. Very quiet, and relaxed. I haven't attended any of the resident get together's yet, but I think its great that people in my area take the time to be friendly. It's beautiful here!! I cant help but read the other comments, it makes me wonder if any of these previous residents have lived anywhere else. This place is a Diamond in the rough. I am very pleased.
